Democratic Lawyers Association of Bangladesh (DLAB):  A leading progressive lawyers association of Bangladesh. It was established on 1982 with an aim to organize Bangladeshi lawyers to uphold spirit of ‘Rule of Law’, Independence of Judiciary and pro-people lawyering . This organization believes four fundamental principles of Bangladesh Constitution adopted by country’s parliament in 1972. These principles are namely, 1) Bangalee Nationalism, 2) Secularism, 3) Democracy and 4) Socialism. This association has a wider network of legal professionals countrywide. DLAB is a forefront organization which is struggling to protect rights of lawyers and judiciary.
